Prevest DenPro ApaCal ART is a light-cure, resin-modified pulp protectant and cavity liner formulated with calcium hydroxide, tricalcium phosphate, and hydroxyapatite. It is designed to act as a protective barrier for the dentine-pulp complex during restorative procedures. Its Active Release Technology supports accelerated calcium ion release and dentine bridge formation. ApaCal ART can be used for direct and indirect pulp capping and as a protective base or liner beneath composites, amalgams, cements, and other restorative materials. The paste formulation is supplied in syringes with applicator tips for controlled clinical placement. Barium zirconate in the formulation provides enhanced radiopacity and biocompatibility.
