Prevest DenPro Calplus is a premixed calcium hydroxide paste containing iodoform, developed for endodontic and pulp-protection procedures. Its non-hardening, oil-based formulation provides prolonged calcium hydroxide release, supporting secondary dentine formation and pulp protection. Calplus is indicated for direct and indirect pulp capping, pulpotomy, apexification, hard tissue formation, temporary filling of infected root canals, and treatment of root resorption. It can also be used as a cavity liner under restorative materials and in conjunction with gutta-percha points and conventional root canal sealants. The ready-to-use syringe formulation allows convenient and direct clinical application.
